Munay-Ki
The prophecies of the ancient Americas talk about a time when there is great transformation in this world, a time when it is necessary for a new type of human being to emerge, someone who embodies wisdom, love and power to combat the fear based states presiding on the Earth and become stewards of the planet and all that live upon it - the Homo luminous. Munay-Ki comes from a Quechua word meaning "I Love You". Ki is the Japanese word meaning energy. Combined, the phrase Munay-Ki translates as "the energy of love".
There are nine great rites which are based on initiatory sacred practises taken from the Laika, the shamans of the High Andes in Peru and the Amazon. These great initiations take you on a personal journey connecting you to the ancient lineages of the medicine people, healers, shamans, caretakers of the earth and wise Sages who walked on the earth more than 30,000 years ago. They are common to all Shamanic traditions and have been made available to us so we can heal our wounds from present day, past life, karmic and ancestral woundings. As we heal these wounds, we awaken our capacity to heal, upgrade and transform our luminous energy bodies, re-informing our DNA so that we can become the Homo luminous ourselves and grow a new body which ages, heals and dies differently. We become what the Inca called "The Children of the Sun" as our energy body glows with radiance with each of our chakras shining with their original light as we clear old wounds and energies, so that we acquire what is known as a rainbow body. After receiving the nine rites, you can begin to dream the world into being both for yourself and for the Earth and all of its inhabitants so the world can become a better place for our children and their descendants.
Those who attend often feel they have received a calling to the Munay Ki. They are people who wish to make a difference on the earth plane as well as making positive changes in their own lives. Working with the rites you will experience the blessings of making a difference both energetically and practically in the world. As you acquire your rainbow body, luminous beings will support you and guide you through the process with their love and wisdom.
You will receive all of the nine rites over the four days. In receiving them you will experience a vibrational shift as you step into your power as an Earthkeeper, a steward of this beautiful planet we reside on and must take care of. Receiving the Munay Ki allows you to see the bigger picture and understand more of the Divine Plan of which your life is part of. You will attain deeper clarity into your life purpose on this earth walk, as you follow your potential, passion and purpose with ever increasing joy and wisdom. As your vibration is raised, those things which no longer serve you will fall away allowing you to experience deep energetic shifts as you follow the principles of the Munay-Ki:- non-violence, truthfulness, integrity, moderation and generosity. As you change, so will the external world seemingly change as your energy becomes more flowing and more in alignment with the new you and who you were always meant to be. You will view the world with new eyes and see the beauty present with a more peaceful, harmonious and loving perspective. The tools you gain during the workshop will increase your ability for personal healing as well as to assist others in their healing journeys. Your energy field will also become stronger and more resistant to lower vibrations allowing you to walk fearlessly in the world.
This four day workshop will enable participants to receive the nine great rites of initiation as well as learning how to pass them to others so that the rites are spread widely as was always envisaged. Besides receiving and giving the rites, we will include meditative practises, journeys, Peruvian Whistling Ceremony, discussion, fire ceremonies and other developmental practises during the four days.
The rites will call to many of you and are open to anyone with an interest in personal development wishing to align with Munay. There is no pre-requisite to attend, just a curious interest and an open heart.
This workshop takes place in Sawbridgeworth on the Herts and Essex borders. The workshop starts at 6pm on the Friday evening with an introduction and initiation into the first rite with the evening ending at 10:00 pm. The workshop continues each day from 09:00 am to 5:30 pm. At the end of the workshop you will have received the Nine Rites of passage into Munay-Ki and be able to pass these rites on to others. You will be provided with a comprehensive manual and a crystal pi-stone and on completion of the ninth rite, you will be issued with a certificate. We also share the 13th Rite, the Rite of the Womb on a one to one basis, or in a group ceremonial offering either at the end of the Nine Rites of the Munay-Ki workshop or as a stand alone occasion (please see bottom of page for further info).
THE NINE RITES OF INITIATION
THE FOUNDATION RITES
Rite One: Healer's Rite This rite connects you to a lineage of ancient healers and shamans from the past who come to assist you in your personal transformation, awakening your healing power so that everyone you touch is blessed. There is tremendous spiritual assistance available, and these luminous ones work in our meditations and also our sleep to heal the wounds of the past and those of our ancestors. This rite opens the pathways to healing, organizes, aligns and informs your energetic support system. It also awakens the natural healing power in your hands.
Rite Two: The Bands of PowerFive luminous energy belts are woven into the luminous energy field (LEF) for protection. They act as filters, breaking down any negative energy that comes toward you into one of the five elements; earth, water, fire, air and ether (pure light) and subsequently feed your LEF instead of allowing the energies to make you sick. This rite powerfully strengthens and empowers your luminous energy field, bringing you an even greater capacity to engage the power of transformation. These bands are incredibly protective and nurturing. Always "on", negative energies bounce right off them. In a world where fear currently predominates, they provide essential protection. They are something which can be shared with anyone and everyone and are especially useful if you work with lots of people, be it in your environment or as a therapist or care worker. It is particularly useful for those who are empathic or highly sensitive to energies.
Rite Three: Harmony RiteA transmission of 7 Archetypal energies of the Andean Medicine Way into the Chakras as energetic seeds that metabolise trauma and heavier energy. First you receive the archetypes of serpent, jaguar, hummingbird and eagle/condor; next you receive three archangels: Huascar, the Keeper of the Lower World (our unconscious), Quetzalcoatl, feathered serpent, the Keeper of the Middle World (our waking world), and Pachakuti, the Protector of the Upper World (our super-conscious) and Keeper of the Time to Come. This rite connects you with powerful archetypal allies that can assist you in coming into right relationship in every aspect of your life. These allies support and encourage the cleansing and clearing, opening and empowering of each one of your 7 chakras so that you may acquire a rainbow body. This rite balances and harmonizes your energetic structure and the exchanges you make in the world. The energetic seeds are germinated with fire in our fire ceremonies. These rites connect you even more deeply to the Animal Kingdom and are particularly useful on a shamanic path.
Rite Four: Seer's RiteExtra-cerebral pathways of light are installed that connect the visual cortex with the third eye and heart chakra. This awakens the inner seer and your ability to perceive the invisible world of energy and Spirit with the eyes of the Heart. It clears and opens your capacity to shift the perceptions and projections you are constantly engaging. These rites support clarity within the dream state, allowing a better comprehension of messages received during dreams, journeys or meditations.
THE LINEAGE RITES
Rite Five: Daykeeper's RiteThis rite connects you to a lineage of Master Healers from the past; midwives, herbalists and curanderas (shamans and healers). Daykeepers are able to call on the ancient altars to bring healing and balance to Mother Earth as well as calling on the sun to rise each day and to bring humans into harmony with the Earth. They were masters of the ancient altars in sacred places around the world such as Machu Picchu and Stonehenge. After this rite you will feel more connected to ancient sites and working with the Divine Feminine energy, assisting you to reconnect with the feminine principles of creation, helping you to heal your own inner feminine including your relationships with women, so that you may step beyond fear and practise peace.
Rite Six: Wisdomkeeper's RiteThis rite connects you to a lineage of luminous beings from the past and the future asking to encode their wisdom and knowledge to heal your inner masculine, your relationship with the masculine in your life, step outside of time, become steeped in the medicine teachings and taste infinity. This rite is associated with the snow-capped mountains (Apus), revered places of power, perhaps a distant memory of our ancestors from the Himalayas and other sacred mountains such as Mount Fuji, Mount Olympus, Mount Shasta and Mount Sinai, and will connect you to sacred high places and the Divine Masculine energy.
Rite Seven: Earthkeeper's RiteThis rite connects you to the lineage of archangels and guardians of the galaxies and our solar system, stewards of all life on Earth. Lifting you from your earth-bound existence, you embody the energy of the High Masters, Saints and Avatars. The rite sets your spirit free so you can begin your journey to the Stars, beginning with the Sun, our local star, so you may dream your world into being. You learn the way of the great seers and become planetary guardians and protectors. This rite connects you deeply to our planet and makes you more aware of the impact we are having on our great Mother and how we can help.
THE RITES OF THE TIME TO COME
Rite Eight: Starkeeper's Rite
This Rite safely anchors you to the new energy following the great change that took place around 2012. It connects you to the energy of who you are becoming and you also take on stewardship of the time to come for future generations. As each of your energetic centres are informed by the highest state of your being, This rite enables your physical body to have the ability to evolve into homo luminous, your DNA is re-encoded, the aging process is slowed down, and you become more resistant to disease and decay. This rite also connects you deeply with the star beings.
Rite Nine: Creator Rite
This rite connects you with the Divine source and awakens the creator light within you. This is a very profound, sacred and powerful rite and changes the way you view the world and your life. As it awakens the Creator-light within, this rite brings stewardship for all creation - from the smallest grain of sand to the largest cluster of galaxies. Once you start to understand the true nature of your being, this pure consciousness enables you to expand the capacity to co-create your life experience and this stewardship becomes natural. Once attained only through direct transmission from Spirit, it is now possible to transmit from one person to another. The Creator rite was brought forth and gifted to us by Inca elders in the Andes during the summer of 2006.
When you receive these rites they are given as seeds into your luminous body. You will need to carry out a candle or fire ceremony to germinate and grow these seeds and develop your own deeper connection with each rite.

RECLAIMING CREATIVITY, REMOVING FEAR - THE 13TH RITE: THE RITE OF THE WOMB
In 2014 during a trip to the Amazon and whilst embarking on a shamanic journey, Marcela Lobos received a transmission from a lineage of women of jungle medicine, a lineage of women who had freed themselves from suffering. This was the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki. She tells how this transmission not only purified her body, but also her psyche. The lineage both guards and guides those who receive the rite to help find their freedom, purpose and connect to the joy of life. She was told during the transmission that "The womb is not a place to store fear and pain, the womb is to create and give birth to life". The Rite of the Womb was born into present day reality and has been transmitted to both women and men ever since. It is called the 13th Rite because it is linked to the 13 Moon cycles. You can receive the 13th Rite as a stand alone rite without having received the Nine Great Rites of Initiation. Everyone can receive this rite, and men are also welcome to receive. We share the 13th Rite on a one to one basis or in a group ceremony held at various times during the year. Please enquire for further information.
